Human Rights Education
The human rights education project promotes human rights through co-curricular programming. Human Rights Lab students host events, design factsheets, create educational curriculum and train campus peers on the best practices of human rights advocacy and social change.
By training others, the project allows students to engage in experiential learning and grow as human rights practitioners and scholars. What is more, by providing human rights education to peers a step forward is taken in creating a rights based community.
If you have an idea for an event or fact sheet you would like the Lab to create, are interested in co-hosting an event, have questions, or want more information contact us!
Fact Sheets
The fact sheets viewable on the top of this page were created by the Lab to provide easy to understand information on human rights. To learn how to advocate for these rights, please visit our Advocacy Toolkit. And if you are an Albion College student, consider taking an advocacy Innovation Badge.
Programming and Events
Throughout the year the Lab hosts various events to increase human rights education across campus and make a difference in the Albion, as well as global, community.
